Using different tools and massage techniques depending on the choice of service, the nail technician will work to safely remove excess dead skin and cuticle surrounding nails, file, buff, remove callus, exfoliate and moisturize your skin and apply a fresh coat of nail polish.

Special services such as acrylic and gel nails are also part of the menu of manicure and pedicure services and involve applying different types of materials to add an additional layer onto the nails that will make the manicure and pedicure long-lasting. Other special finishes such as French nails or French tips can be offered, which consists of painting the tip of the nails in a soft white nail polish while painting a top coat in a light pink or other neutral color.

How often should I have a Manicure and Pedicure?

Maintaining your nails regularly is ideal and most beauty salon professionals will recommend it be done at least once a month. Some services will last longer than others.
